Changing the Time & Date
Login into your NEC telephone system via the web link provided by COMM SPEC.
(It may look like this: http://192.168.0.10)
At the HOME screen
Click on SYSTEM DATA
10-01 : Time and Date Setup will show up on the main display.
Simply change to suit.
NOTE: Hour is in 24 hour format.
Click APPLY up on the top right of the screen.
Click HOME.
Click LOGOUT
Change Time only from the Attendant handset (usually the reception handset)
- Press SPEAKER key
- Dial 728
- Dial current time in 24 hour format HH:MM
- Confirmation tone heard
- Press SPEAKER key to exit

Adding a Name to an Extension
Login into your NEC telephone system via the web link provided by COMM SPEC.
(It may look like this: http://192.168.0.10)
At the HOME screen
Click on SYSTEM DATA
15-01 : Extension Basic Setup will show up on the main display.
On the right hand side, there is a drop down list.
Select specific extension
01 - Name: 12 Characters maximum
Click APPLY up on the top right of the screen.
Click HOME.
Click LOGOUT
From the Administrator phone, normally the reception handset.
- Press SPEAKER key
- Dial 700
- Dial station number you are programming
- Enter in name (use character entry table on last page)
- Press HOLD key to save
- Press SPEAKER key to exit

Login into your NEC telephone system via the web link provided by COMM SPEC.
(It may look like this: http://192.168.0.10)
At the HOME screen
Click on SYSTEM DATA
13-04 : Speed Dialing Number and Name
On the right hand side, you can select from 0-9999 ststem speed dial locations
You will only need to fill in two columns, Number and Name as per below.
Click APPLY up on the top right of the screen.
Click HOME.
Click LOGOUT
From the Administrator phone, normally the reception handset.
- Press Prog soft key
- Press Down Arrow soft key, ↓
- Press SPD soft key
- Press SYS soft key
- Dial Speed Dial Bin 000~999
- Dial Number to store
- Press HOLD key to save
- Dial Speed Dial Name (optional, use character entry table on last page)
- Press HOLD key to save
- Dial next Speed Dial Bin 000~999 OR press SPEAKER to exit

Login into your NEC telephone system via the web link provided by COMM SPEC.

At the HOME screen
Click on SYSTEM DATA
15-07 : Function Keys will show up on the main display.
On the right hand side, there is a drop down list.
Select specific extension
Select specific function button you wish to program (buttons on phones start from the top left, so the top row on a DTZ-430 is buttons 1-6)
To add a internal extension number for one touch calling and status indication, select 01 in the function drop down field.
Then in the additional Data field, enter the extension number.
To add an external number for one touch calling, select 01 in the function drop down field.
Then in the additional Data field, enter a 0 then the phone number. OR
To add an external number via a speed dial location for one touch calling, select 27 in the function drop down field.
Then in the additional Data field, enter speed dial location of the phone number you wish to add.
Click APPLY up on the top right of the screen.
Click HOME.
Click LOGOUT
From the phone.
- Press SPEAKER key
- Dial 751
- Press the Programmable Function key to be programmed.
- Dial the code for the desired featured plus additional data if required (refer to the feature code list below).
- Press SPEAKER key to set and exit

Bria 4 is a 3rd Party Android softphone that can be connected to either the NEC SL1100, NEC SV8100 and NEC SV9100.
This allows you to be connected to the NEC while on WiFi or via a Virtual Private Network into the office.
